Dr. Andrzej Glowacz received the Prime Minister's Award

Dr Andrzej Glowacz from the Department of Telecommunications at the Faculty of Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications AGH was among the laureates of the Prime Minister's awards this year.

Outstanding work in the field of medical science and health entitled "The system of early detection, coordination and extracorporeal deep-tissue hypothermia treatment, including the development of guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of deep hypothermia, the design and construction of innovative devices, and the extensive training and organization of the system", won the second place in the competition. The application for the prize was submitted by a qualified team of doctors from the Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University.
Dr. Andrzej Glowacz from AGH is the coordinator of several agreements within the aforementioned system of activities and dependencies, increasing the patient survivability. In addition, among the laureates was one of the Dr. Andrzej Glowacz’s graduates – Mr Rafal Palej.
